Shadow of the Colossus releasedate slips a month

Looks like it's official now. Originally expected to ship in mid-September, the latest word from the inside is that the new official releasedate for Shadow of the Colossus, Sony's highly anticipated followup to Ico, is now slated for October 18th, 2005. This date has been kinda slipped in innocuously in assorted previews of the game, but considering that Sony had this whole big press-release about how the stateside releasedate was to be September 20th, and September 20th was . . you know . . earlier, I stuck to it, hoping dearly that the October date was just a misprint.
But it looks like it's real now, since it's the date we've been given by the US Localization Producer. I'd certainly hope he would know when it's coming out, and in an "Ask the Dev Team" thread over on the official playstation forums, he confirmed that yes, the game's new release date is October 18th.
Oh well. Guess this means we'll all have more time to give We Love Katamari our undivided attention, which it will so rightly deserve.
