Day of Defeat: Source released, plus other Steam news

As we reported earlier, Day of Defeat: Source was successfully released right on time yesterday. Not really a whole lot to say about this, It's DoD:S, we already told you all about it, and all 47 different ways you can go pay for it now. Now you can. So go do it.
In other Steam news, during their preparations last week to getting DoD:S preloading for people, Valve kinda broke everything. The update pushed on the 23rd casually broke just about everything there is to break. CS:S didn't work anymore, third party mods didn't work, nothing worked. This seems to have been hotfixed, but it was still another quality forced update through Steam, and thus, worth mentioning.
A few weeks back we also reported about an upcoming indie game called Ragdoll Kung Fu, and how it would be distributed Via Steam once it was ready. Well, it has a release date and a price now. 12 OCT 2005 and $12.95 respectively. Not bad at all. We'll be sure to give it a thorough look when it's out in two weeks.
