Want the publishing rights to Mortal Kombat?

Or Revolution X? Smash TV? NBA Jam? How about Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game? Well, now's your chance.
As part of their ongoing asset liquidation due to their bankruptcy, Acclaim is auctioning off all their publishing rights. I don't really care enough to want to examine how exactly this process works, but if you're really interested in securing the publishing rights to, say, Fur Fighters, possibly to make sure it never gets re-issued, you can contact the auctioneer on Monday for more details. No, this isn't anywhere near as interesting as the physical asset liquidation Acclaim did at their headquarters awhile back, where you could buy crates full of sealed copies of Turok: Rage Wars, but these sales are more valuable.
Or, at least they would be more valuable, if they weren't for the publishing rights to games like Mary Kate & Ashley: Magical Mystery Mall.
