Halo movie in good hands - Peter Jackson and WETA on board

Quick little announcement to report on regarding the Halo movie, which we know barely anything about. Even though we have absolutely no concrete information about what all it will cover, when it will be out, or anything other than the fact that it's being made, we can cross two blanks off our list: Executive Producer and Special Effects Team.
Bungie said they had some big news this week, and they weren't kidding. They signed Peter Jackson and WETA. This is a really big deal. It means the film is officially saved from any unspeakable horrors, and means its got some momentum now and can start being made.
Still a long way to go, though. We'll keep you posted.
