On Upgrading and Low Post Volumes

Well, it looks like I'm going to be spending my New Year's Eve getting our slightly modded WordPress installation upgraded to the new release. As such, I'm going to hold off on posting much new stuff untill I can get everything upgraded. Kinda sad, too, as we've got two new reviews just about ready to post.

[ Ok, so I lied a bit. I'm really going to be spending the next few days obsessively playing Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!, as I just unlocked hard mode and even though it is soul-crushingly difficult, I just can't put the game down. But I'll be pulling myself away from it to get our stuff upgraded. Seriously. ]

Anyways, if I don't manage to get things upgraded before then, I'll go ahead and get the Happy-New-Year-Wishing out of the way. It's hard to not feel like every next year is bigger than the last year when it comes to the gaming industry, but 2006 is going to be bigger than most. Sure, the Next [or is it current by now?] Generation officially started last month, but it's going to finish starting in 2006 with the releases of the PS3 and the Revolution. Apart from that, we also have upcoming Last Hurrahs for the PS2 and Gamecube [FF12 and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, respectively]. And hey, it's also another year for games to continue to not be released, like S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Duke Nukem Forever, Team Fortress 2 and others. And of course, as all these events occur, we'll be here reporting on it.
