WiFi-Enabled Tetris DS coming in March

Nintendo just pushed out a press release announcing the upcoming release of Tetris DS. On March 20th, they'll be releasing a Nintendo WiFi Connection-enabled version of the classic game Tetris, a game synonymous with handheld gaming thanks to being the pack-in with the original Gameboy. I was personally very saddened when I got my DS last year and knew that I would have to finally retire my now 15-year-old Tetris Cartridge, as the DS can't play original Gameboy Games, but now it looks like we'll have a proper replacement.
Oh, but in addition to the normal a-mode and b-mode, there's other stuff too. Here, have a quote:
"Each of the six modes of play features a theme based on a classic Nintendo game, such as Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda or Metroid. The traditional Tetriminos (falling blocks) and line-clearing strategy remain the staples of the game, but the touch screen adds a new element of interactivity."
Metroid and Tetris? You mean we're actually getting Metris? I am amazed and require this game immediately.
The press release isn't entirely clear about how the touchscreen is going to factor into all this, or how the themed modes will work, but I expect that'll get cleared up in the coming months. Personally, I'd love to see some Tetrinet-style attack blocks, and more than just 1v1 multiplayer, but we'll see.
Update! Ohhh dear. Screenshots have surfaced.
10-player Tetrinet-style multiplayer. 10!!!!
Weird SMB3 Mode
Props to 4cr for the screenshots. This has serious potential to be the best incarnation of Tetris ever.
