Star Wars: Empire at War Demo out tomorrow

I'll admit, this one snuck up on me. Looks like I totally forgot the releasedate was coming around. And where there's release dates, there's demos.
As we reported three months back, Empire at War is the latest attempt at a Star Wars RTS, this time taking place in the uncharted territory between the two trilogies. It'll let you play as Rebel or Imperial, and have you fighting in space, on a wide variety of planets, and . . well . . anywhere else there really is to fight. Apart from your standard campaign mode, there's also going to be two player vs. campaign mode, and 8 player skirmish mode.
The retail street-date is less than a month away, 16 FEB 2006, but tomorrow we're getting the demo. It'll be up on the official site at some sane hour for the west coast, and out on your large-game-file website of choice at some point thereafter. I still have pretty high hopes for EAW, I still think they might have gotten it right this time, but I guess we'll all see how that pans out tomorrow.
Update: The demo was released at around noon ET. CNET-family sites [ like Gamespot and Download.com ] are reportedly supposed to have it exclusively untill noon PT, but that hasn't stopped 3D Gamers from tossing up a mirror. It weighs in at nearly 750 megs, and will provide you with one full mission, and a selection of training missions. Good luck getting in right now, though. Everything I've found is full unless you're paying for high-speed downloads from Gamespot. So unless you are, I suggest holding off untill things quiet down later today, or someone sets up a torrent.
