Mother 3 presents from Shigesato Itoi

Looks like over the next few days we'll be getting Mother-3-related presents from Shigesato Itoi's Official Mother 3 website. The first present doesn't appear to be anything, but the second one has a minute and a half long mp3 from Mother 3 up for download. It's a simple little piano track, apparently the "Mother 3 Love Theme", but don't quote me on that.
In case you haven't been keeping up, Mother 3 is Earthbound 2, and you'll be hearing more about it from me as time goes on. I've been waiting over a decade for this game, so there's going to be some gushing, even when it's just over a short little mp3. This short little mp3 is the most tangible proof that this game is real and happening that we've gotten in years.
I'll try to hold back, though. Unless Itoi puts up something really unbelievably awesome in a future present. Until then, you can check it for new stuff yourself. Mother 3 still has a solid Japanese release date of 20 APR 2006. Still no clue as to if we'll ever see it stateside, but if Nintendo skips localizing this, we may very well have to resort to violence.
