DirectionalPad’s E3 2006 Coverage wrap-up

I know, I know . . "So inpheaux what's the deal? You get back from E3 and then don't post anything for a week?"
I've been busy, ok? 12,300 words of coverage and editorial insight don't write themselves. Even if they did write themselves it wouldn't be an incredibly fast process. It took me a week, but I finally finished writing what I promised to write, and it's all up now in our E3 2006 Coverage Article. All our assorted E3 image galleries are up there too.
But you've probably already seen all our image galleries, so you probably want to jump right into our extensive daily recaps. Here's a day-by-day summary of what we've got:
- E3 2006 Day 1 Recap - Fun with the Nintendo Wii, Guitar Hero 2, Sony's poorly designed booth, Supreme Commander, and a hilarious demo of Left Behind.
- E3 2006 Day 2 Recap - Meeting Mega64, Playing DS Games, and Watching demos at the Nvidia Booth.
- E3 2006 Day 3 Recap - Epic Wii Line! DS Line! UT2007 Line! Spore Line! Lucasarts Line! Hard-hitting comprehensive line coverage.
And finally, to wrap everything up, Overall Show Recap, Predictions and Awards.
Yes, it's a whole lot of words, but there are also pictures in between the words, ok? You people like pictures, right? In case you'd just like some pictures, we've also got one last set of show photos from Lisa, our gracious host in LA.
And with that, I'm finally out of E3 2006 content. Next week we'll be getting back to normal. We've got reviews coming, some special installments of Indie Games You Should Know, and some standard news-y bits since maybe by then the people making the news will have recovered from E3.
