European DS Lite Price / Date set

Nintendo of Europe has apparently decided to not screw their customers for a change. Not too badly, at least.
The announcement comes a couple weeks late and - conveniently - so will the release. Nintendo of Europe plans on releasing the DS Lite in all territories they serve on 22 JUN 2006 for the suggested retail price(s) of £99.99 and €149.99. It's a bit more expensive, and a bit later, but compared to previous NoE shenanigans, it's pretty tame. Consider it a win.
Oh, and it comes in a shiny new color now: Black. Why Nintendo has chosen to not launch with the same set of colors in all regions, or even with any overlap beyond white, I have no idea, but I expect these region exclusives will be spread around as time goes on. Then again, color is irrelevant to those of us cool-kids who imported Enamel Navy from Japan.
