PLAYSTATION 3: A CAPITAL IDEA

The feature list is big. The price is big. The unit itself may weigh as much as a small child. In keeping with this, Sony is letting it be known that the name will be big as well. Specifically, "PLAYSTATION 3®". Not "PlayStation", Not "Playstation". Refer to it with any lowercase in there and I hear it voids your warranty, which if our experience with the PS2's wonderful disc drive is any indication of things to come, would be an important thing to hang on to.
I'm serious on this one. Scuttlebutt has it that Sony stuffshirts are tired of people referring to their beloved PlayStation as Playstation, so they decided to hammer their corporate pride into our thick skulls with 11 hefty capital letters. They have also trademarked "PS3®" as well even though they never bothered with PS2 except as a specific symbol. If you ask me, i think they were just tired of Nintendo getting all the "laughable console name" press.
As long as they don't mandate that insipid Spider-Man font, whatever.
...Ah God, I hope I didn't just jinx it.
