New batch of games available on Steam

It seems like every other week Valve is hopping in bed with some new publisher or developer to push their stuff out via Steam. And to think that some people said online delivery via Steam would never take off. First it was X2 and X3 popping up without Starforce, then Popcap dumping all their games on Steam, and now we've got Majesco jumping into the fun. Sure, it seems weird that a publisher that sucks at publishing games is now effectively giving up and saying "HERE JUST TAKE THESE AND DO SOMETHING, STEAM!", but who cares?
So far Bloodrayne, Bloodrayne 2 and Advent Rising are available for bargain-bin prices, but here's the great news: in October Psychonauts will be joining the already great set of games available through Steam.
Soon all of you horrible horrible people who didn't buy Psychonauts back when we told you to will have absolutely no excuse to not buy this game. When it's available, I will definitely be making a point to let you all know.
In other Steam Game News, Introversion's Defcon is available for preorder. It's going to normally cost $14.95 through Steam, but if you buy it before release you get $5 off. Defcon is a great game, I've been in the beta for the past couple months, so if you've enjoyed Introversion's previous works, $9.95 is a great price for it. Defcon is slated for release in two weeks, on 29 SEP 2006.
