Burning Crusade slips to Jan 2007

What? You didn't really think a game that just went into beta would be out next month, did you? Or think that a Blizzard game would be out on their first estimated release date? How naive are you?
Yes, as expected, the highly anticipated expansion for World of Warcraft - The Burning Crusade - has been pushed to 2007. (Officially January, for the moment. But don't be surprised if this turns into February or March.) To anyone in the beta round that just started, such as our own resident WoW addict Ping, it was pretty apparent that there'd be no way they'd hit their previous target of November/December, but hey, now we've got confirmation.
So all of you level 60's have at least another three months of thankless endgame raiding to "enjoy", and all of you under 60 have another three months to catch up . . and start some thankless endgame raiding. Won't that be fun?!!1?!1!
