Gamestop finds a few more PS3s

After all the shenanigans of the week, from PS3 lines getting hit by bb-gun drivebys, to Gamestop announcing that whoops they can't fill all their preorders, to lines being filled with homeless people paid to be there, to Gamestops being held-up at gunpoint just to clean out their four whole PS3s, Gamestop has somehow managed to find some extras. As such, they will be available for sale online-only at this page on their site later tonight.

It's just the 20gb model, and they won't start shipping until 1 DEC 2006, but seeing as your only other option right now is the rapidly deflating market on eBay, at least you've got a shot at getting it without having to out-bid someone.

As for where we've been, well, in preparation for the big Wii orgy everyone here at Directional Pad has planned for the weekend, we've been scrambling to get everything we've been playing over the past few months reviewed. It's been slow, because it turns out that Guitar Hero 2 Expert Mode does horrible things to your fingers, and apparently you need functional fingers to be able to type reviews. We seem on target to have a huge flood of stuff for you on Saturday, just before we go on a short break to enjoy us a console release.
