Gamespot deploys all-360 advertising for their PS3 subsection

Sometimes these things just write themselves.
Today, Gamespot unveiled a new overbearing gigantic ad-filled version of one of their pages. This is nothing new, and isn't the punchline. Most of us remember the glory that was McIGN, but I feel this goes a step (or seventeen) too far.
The page in question was their PS3 index, and the advertising in question is giant Xbox360 background ads and two quite large 360 flash ads. In case they've fixed it by the time you read this, you can see a scaled-down version of it here. This image was not doctored in any other way, apart from being resized.
No other subsections have this kind of background advertising (though actually doing background advertising isn't beyond the scope of what Gamespot has done in the past), and all other subsections have targeted platform-specific flash ads. This has to make you think: how unbiased can a site like Gamespot be if they're willing to take Microsoft's money to deface a Sony news hub in such a hamfisted manner?
Great job, Gamespot! I hope losing whatever shred of journalistic integrity you still had was worth whatever they paid you.
