Halo 3 public beta signups begin tonight

Quick update: Halo 3 beta signups start tonight at Halo3.com. We don't know exactly when, but it's likely to go live some time during Monday Night Football, since Microsoft is running a Halo 3 ad during tonight's game, which starts at 2030 ET.
This is expected to be just one of several methods to get into the Beta, which isn't slated to launch until Spring 2007. So if you don't get in during the expected logjam, don't worry, you'll probably be getting other chances later.
Oh, and the site doesn't work in Firefox, for no apparent reason other than Microsoft doesn't want it to. THANKS, MICROSOFT!
UPDATE @ 1920ET - Ok guys, it's up now. To sign up you need a 360 Premium Pack, a valid XBL Gold subscription and a .NET Passport account tied to said XBL Gold subscription. If you've got those [which you probably do if you plan on getting Halo 3], head on over and sign yourself up.
