Valve launches Steam Community Beta

The new Steam Community site, which we covered earlier, has just gone into beta.
Here's how you get in:
From Steam, click File -> Settings -> "Settings" under "Beta Participation" and then choose "The Steam Community" from the dropdown.

Blizzard announces World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

EA drops online support for tons of games

EA, in their infinite wisdom, has decided that if you haven't upgraded your yearly sports games in the past two years, that you must not care about playing games online. So they don't need to support you anymore.
