Smash Bros. Dojo website launches
Posted by inpheaux on May 22nd, 2007 at 3:00 amFor the past month or so, Nintendo has had a teaser page up at SmashBros.com, telling us amazing new things would be coming. It's up finally, but it's just a bit underwhelming compared to the nuclear strike launched by Blizzard over the weekend.
The new "Smash Bros. Dojo" features - as rumored - updates every weekday [...]
Nintendo announces their Summer Lineup
Posted by inpheaux on May 21st, 2007 at 1:00 pmNintendo has been rather tight-lipped about when things are being released lately, and on a normal year I'd say they were holding stuff back for E3 but . . that isn't an incredibly applicable excuse these days. Looks like they were just holding back for their Late-May Press Day, which is actually two days, and [...]

Posted by inpheaux on December 22nd, 2006 at 9:31 amAs promised, Nintendo and Opera put the "trial" version of the Wii Internet Channel up in the Wii shop early thismorning. I had some time to play around with it before heading in to work, and found it pretty impressive. Here's the rundown:
The Good:
It renders pretty much everything perfectly, thanks to the already great Opera [...]
Smash-hit Flash game “Line Rider” coming to Wii and DS
Posted by inpheaux on December 19th, 2006 at 11:51 pmA few months ago, you probably saw the little Flash toy Line Rider. Like nearly all amazing Flash toys, it was simple. Draw a line, hit play, watch your little sledder fly off into oblivion. Despite having a very simple set of tools, Line Rider is flexible enough that it can be used to make [...]
Nintendo launches the Forecast Channel, Opera coming Friday
Posted by inpheaux on December 19th, 2006 at 10:36 amAfter a delay which occurred for no apparent reason, Nintendo has launched the first of several add-on channels for the Wii. First up is the Forecast Channel, which has . . well . . weather. Rather than having it based on zip code, you pick your location from a list of states and cities (or, [...]

Posted by inpheaux on December 16th, 2006 at 5:37 pm. . . If you're lucky.
For the past couple weeks, Amazon has been running a "Customers Vote" program, where every week they put up a selection of three products which are either hard to find, or are at a severely reduced price. The first deal they ran was an Xbox 360 Core system for $100. [...]

Do you profusely sweat buckets from your hands as soon as you pick up a controller?
