November 2007.
Not sure what day in November, but some time in there. And it'll be a "worldwide release" (which probably just means North America/Europe) and it'll be [...]

Guitar Hero III Good News and Bad News
Posted by inpheaux on May 30th, 2007 at 11:49 pmUpdate: 31 MAY 2007 @ 19:46:55
Looks like IGN just completely dropped the ball last night. They pulled the videos, and replaced the one of My Name is Jonas with a 100% run (to hide the fact that the full audio track was cutting out), and replaced the one of Slow Ride with a section that [...]

Posted by inpheaux on May 23rd, 2007 at 1:22 pmAnd I mean ALL OF THEM. PS2. PS3. 360. Wii.
Today, Activision announced the forthcoming third (or fourth if you count 80's) installment of the Guitar Hero series. The formula is staying the same, but with a few key upgrades:
Developer: Neversoft (For real, this time. Apparently Harmonix is still on board for 80's.)
Platforms: Everything. PS2, PS3, [...]
Harmonix’ next game: “Rock Band”
Posted by inpheaux on April 2nd, 2007 at 1:27 pmAs expected, right on the heels of the 360 release of Guitar Hero 2 comes word of Harmonix' next game, and it's the next logical step past Guitar Hero and Karaoke Revolution: You get to play a whole band.
The game is just being announced today, so details are rather sketchy at the moment, but here's [...]

UT2007 wrap-up: Names, Ports, and Slips
Posted by inpheaux on January 25th, 2007 at 4:33 pmWord on the street earlier in the week was that we'd be getting some hefty UT 2007 news today. As expected, we did. Also as expected, it's not all good. We just can't always have nice things, can we?
First change: The name. They've given up on the "Unreal Tournament 2007" name. The game is now [...]
Still can’t find a Wii or PS3? Amazon will hook you up.
Posted by inpheaux on December 16th, 2006 at 5:37 pm. . . If you're lucky.
For the past couple weeks, Amazon has been running a "Customers Vote" program, where every week they put up a selection of three products which are either hard to find, or are at a severely reduced price. The first deal they ran was an Xbox 360 Core system for $100. [...]
Gamespot deploys all-360 advertising for their PS3 subsection
Posted by inpheaux on November 30th, 2006 at 6:59 pmSometimes these things just write themselves.
Today, Gamespot unveiled a new overbearing gigantic ad-filled version of one of their pages. This is nothing new, and isn't the punchline. Most of us remember the glory that was McIGN, but I feel this goes a step (or seventeen) too far.
The page in question was their PS3 [...]
